Updates to Adventure Camp Registration

Thank you for your interest in Adventure Camp and entrusting us to be the destination for your child’s summer experience. Your registration experience is important to us. We’ve made key improvements to handle high traffic and updates to keep the site running smoothly during peak registration times. Please review the following list of technological enhancements to the ticketing process.

System Updates to Improve Your Customer Experience

Virtual Waiting Room: A new system managed by Cloudflare queues users during peak demand, ensuring the site stays stable and accessible.

Dedicated High-Traffic Server: A special server for events like summer camp registrations ensures there are enough resources during busy periods.

Smarter Database Use: We’ve simplified how the portal interacts with the database, focusing only on what’s essential for checkout to reduce strain.

Faster Loading with Caching: Our improved caching reduces the need for repeated database calls, speeding up page loads and making the site more scalable.

Better Connection Management: Adjustments to our server settings close stalled requests faster, freeing up resources for active users.

The following steps will help guide you through the new registration process:

  1. Log in to your account ahead of January 14 to ensure all of your membership information is updated. This allows time to renew or upgrade your membership if desired.
  2. When it's time to register, you'll enter a new virtual queue line. Once it's your turn, you'll receive instructions to complete your registration.
  3. After you complete your online registration, you must fill out the Camper Information Jotform to finalize your registration process.
  4. If you have any questions about registration, please email us at camp@connerprairie.org, and we’ll respond within 24 hours. Please note, we’re not accepting registrations over the phone, and our voicemail fills up quickly, so email is the best way to reach us!

HOW TO FINALIZE REGISTRATION

Registration is Not Complete Until The Camper Information Jotform is Submitted

After completing your online registration, it's important that you promptly fill out the Camper Information Jotform. The Jotform must be filled out by March 1, 2025. Failure to complete the form will result in registration cancellation without refund.

Please note that we will be taking online registrations ONLY. There will be no in-person or call-in-registrations. If you have a question about your registration process on January 14 or 15, please email camp@connerprairie.org. Your question will be addressed within 24 hours.

New 2025 Camp policies

  • Jotform for all registered campers is due March 1, 2025. Failure to provide this information by March 1, 2025, could result in an nonrefunded cancellation.
  • Changes to medical information and authorized pick-ups (ONLY) will be allowed up until the Monday prior to your camper's registration by emailing (we are no longer taking these changes by telephone or in-person) camp@connerprairie.org
  • Please note that we will be taking online registrations ONLY. There will be no in-person or call-in-registrations. If you have a question about your registration, please email camp@connerprairie.org. Your question will be addressed within 24 hours.
  • Any authorized pickup changes must be done in writing by email to camp@connerpriairie.org 24 hours before the pickup date. This is to ensure the safety of your child.
