When Bank of America entered the Indianapolis market in 2017, community engagement was a top priority. As the largest sponsor of museums nationwide, a relationship with Conner Prairie was one of the first to get off the ground. In March of 2018, Conner Prairie became the first museum in Indiana to participate in Bank of America's national program, Museums on Us. This program gives Bank of America cardholders free access to Conner Prairie and hundreds of museums across the country on the first weekend of every month.
Over the past two years, the relationship has grown into Conner Prairie's largest corporate partnership. In addition to support of beloved festival and events, Bank of America Foundation has provided grants to support the economic mobility of the youth Conner Prairie engages through employment and volunteer opportunities. Throughout the pandemic, Bank of America has been steadfast in its commitment to Conner Prairie and the community. "Conner Prairie offers our customers and clients both living in as well as visiting Indianapolis a unique historical experience," said Andy Crask, Indianapolis market president for Bank of America. "As we mark our 23rd year of Museums on Us and our expanded retail presence in the market, we continue our commitment to supporting area non-profit partners and increasing access to diverse arts and cultural resources for our customers." Added Crask, "Conner Prairie's living history museum and attractions brings the history of Indiana and the early 1800's to life for both adults and children through various programming and events."
