Conner Prairie is thrilled to announce that the Indiana Native American Indian Affairs Commission has proudly re-named the Indiana Native American Indian Affairs Commission Teacher Grant to the INAIAC Michael Pace Educator Grant!
The INAIAC Michael Pace Educator Grant will allow teachers in the State of Indiana to receive funding up to $250.00 for their schools to attend approved sites by the INAIAC to learn more about Native American Indian culture, tradition and history. Mike was chosen based on his many years of dedication in educating people of Native American Indian history, culture and tradition at Conner’s Prairie.
Each time a teacher and school receives this grant, they will hear about Mike's service to educating others on Native American Indian culture, history and tradition. As these schools and teachers hear about his continued service, it will inspire others to continue his legacy.
The INAIAC will honor Mike with a special token of appreciation at the next Indiana Native American Indian Affairs Commission meeting on June 19th, 2019 at 1:00 pm.
