Where to go and park:

Conner Prairie is located at 13400 Allisonville Road, Fishers, Indiana 46038. Access to the festival will be through our outdoor Festival Entrance located in the Apple Store parking lot.

Conner Prairie has ample free parking in our Guest parking lots.

What are the hours?

The Headless Horseman festival runs from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. each night. While activities conclude at 10 p.m., popular attractions such as the corn maze may close early due to amount of guests in line. Depending on the length of the hayride line, some hayrides may extend beyond 10 p.m.

How early can I come to the festival?

You may arrive anytime between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. to enjoy the various activities included with festival admission. If you purchased hayride tickets in addition to your festival admission tickets both must be shown upon arrival at the gate and when it is your time to join the hayride line. We recommend arriving at least 45 minutes prior to your selected hayride time to allow ample time to park, check-in, and walk to the hayride area. In order to allow adequate space for distancing, please do not plan to arrive earlier than 6 p.m. If you have a later hayride time, there are plenty of activities to participate in before your hayride experience. While some hayrides may run past 10 p.m., all other festival activities will end at 10 p.m.

What should I wear?

This event takes place entirely outdoors. We strongly encourage you to check the weather forecast and dress appropriately. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes to navigate the festival grounds.

What happens if there is inclement weather or a weather cancellation?

The festival is planned to take place on all nights, rain or shine. In the event of rain, there may be intermittent delays to hayrides and other activities for the safety of our staff and horses. If threatening weather is in the area, or if heavy rains soak the grounds before a particular night, Conner Prairie reserves the right to cancel an event due to inclement weather. If Conner Prairie cancels the event due to weather on your selected night, you will have the option to reschedule or apply the value of your tickets toward a future ticketed activity or a membership. You may check connerprairie.org and Conner Prairie’s Facebook and Instagram to see our weather updates and cancellation postings.

When can I ride the hayride?

You may join the hayride line at the time printed on your ticket and for up to 15 minutes after. Please plan to join the hayride line only at your designated time. Tickets will be scanned prior to entering the hayride line to verify entry at the correct time. Early entry to the hayride line cannot be accommodated. Once joining the line, there may still be a moderate wait before you board your wagon.

Can I get a refund?

All ticket sales are final and no refunds will be given for unused tickets. Tickets may be rescheduled if you are unable to attend on the original night for which you purchased your tickets.

What if I’m unable to attend on the night for which I have tickets?

You may call Conner Prairie Guest Relations at 317.776.6000 seven days a week between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. and a representative can assist you in rescheduling your tickets for another day/time with availability at no additional charge. On event nights, Guest Relations representatives will be available at the ticket booth outside the gate to assist with rescheduling if needed. All rescheduling of tickets is based on availability and is not guaranteed. Tickets that were unused and not rescheduled prior to the final event date will not be refunded.

How long does it take to experience the entire festival?

Most attendees spend around two hours at the festival. The time you spend will vary depending on the activities in which you choose to participate, crowd levels, the size of your group, the ages of your children, and waiting times. Activities continue until 10 p.m.

What is included in the admission price? Do I need extra spending money?

Your Festival Admission ticket covers the following activities:

  • Short and Long Corn Mazes (until dusk)
  • Trail of Terror
  • Barrel Train Rides
  • Spinning Apples Carnival Ride
  • Tubes of Terror Dry Tubing Hill
  • Midway Games
  • Spooky Shows and Storytelling

Hayride tickets are available for an additional fee. It is strongly recommended to purchase hayride tickets in advance as popular times sell out quickly. Other additional costs may include food and beverage, 1859 Balloon Voyage tickets (weather dependent), and items from our store. All locations accept and prefer credit/debit card payments. Conner Prairie does not have an ATM on property.
