Prairie Pursuits: Inkle Loom Weaving
February 8, 2020 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
An Inkle loom is a small scale table top sort of loom, great for making ribbons, straps, belts, or any sort of narrow width warp-faced weave. While the Inkle loom has been around for centuries, it was patented in the 1930s by a Mr. Gilmore of Stockton, CA. This class will introduce you to inkle weaving and its history, and is great for first time weavers. With help, you will finish a unique decorative strap.
