Hoosier Cake, Choc-Ola, and Maple Buns: Indiana’s Chocolate Legacy

Learn about chocolate’s origins, discuss the etymology of the word “Hoosier” and the related evolution/adaptation of John Hoosier Cake, as well as the Hoosier roots of Choc-Ola and the Maple Bun – the latter two invented in Indiana. You will get to taste samples of all three chocolate treats and get the chance to take home recipe cards to make them yourself!

This program is free with general admission.
