Exploring Indiana History and STEM

$6.50 per student, $6.50 per chaperone, free for the primary educator


Conner Prairie is offering their Exploring Indiana History and STEM program for homeschool families on February 7, 2018. The program is for students in grades 2-8 and runs from 9:30-1:30.

During this program students will rotate through 8 different stations where they will work on challenges that will explore a variety of science topics and concepts and learn how they connect to Indiana’s history.

The cost is $6.50 per student, $6.50 per chaperone, and free for the primary educator. A 30 minute lunch period is included in the time. (Guests must provide their own lunches.)

On this day, any homeschool family can visit Conner Prairie for our low school group rates without the usual requirement of having a group of 15 students or more.

Explore the variety of learning opportunities Conner Prairie has to offer in our six historic areas. Take on a role in Prairietown by using our Adventure Guide and Achievement Cards, link history with hands-on science in our Create.Connect gallery, and experience Indiana’s brush with the Civil War at 1863 Civil War Journey. Also be sure to explore the Conner House, and take a journey out to our newest exhibit, Treetop Outpost.
