Conner Prairie Unveils New Brand to Celebrate the Explorer Spirit
New visual identity invites visitors to “Step Into the Story”
May 20, 2020 – Indianapolis, IN — When Conner Prairie’s grounds reopen later this spring, newly developed and revised programming across the grounds will help bring to life a reimagined brand that celebrates and elevates the explorer spirit that is at the heart of the museum.
The new visual identity better highlights all that the living history museum has to offer — as well as connecting the past to the future, explained Norman Burns, president, and CEO of Conner Prairie.
“History teaches us that humankind is capable and resilient – we have done it before and we can do it again,” Burns shared. “We’re living in a historic time right now, and we’re writing the story of today for the world to read tomorrow.
There seemed like no better time to make sure we were connecting our past, present, and future in the public face of Conner Prairie, and inviting our visitors to step into the story.”
The new branding will debut in a campaign and updated marketing materials this spring. Members and guests will begin to see changes to signage on the grounds, and in the overall experience, starting in the latter half of 2020.
