FISHERS, Ind., (Feb. 6, 2014) – Conner Prairie Interactive History Park is seeking new adult volunteers for 2014. To showcase volunteer opportunities, the museum is holding a Volunteer Fair on Feb. 22.
Members of the community ages 18 and older are invited to attend this free fair, located on the second floor of the Welcome Center at Conner Prairie. The Volunteer Fair will offer participants an array of volunteer opportunities available at the museum. Staff members and current volunteers will be on-hand to discuss unique interests, answer questions and help those interested apply.
“We rely heavily on volunteers,” said Ellen M. Rosenthal, president and CEO. “We wouldn’t be able to pull off special events and programs without them. We love our volunteers and have some of the best around and always enjoy welcoming more.”
Whether you’re looking to get involved in the community, are interested in a certain area of Conner Prairie or need volunteer hours for college applications, Conner Prairie has opportunities to meet anyone’s interest or need.
