Conner Prairie Employees get free tickets to Symphony on the Prairie concerts

The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra generously provides free tickets to Conner Prairie, and the guidelines have been adjusted to improve the flow at the gates. View all the upcoming concerts.

  • This perk is only available to full-time and part-time employees. (Volunteers may earn passes by working a shift at one of the concerts.)
  • Employees may bring up to 3 guests to each concert.

  • Employees must be present at the performance to use any comp admissions.
  • Only 3 guests per night are permitted, plus the employee.
  • You must show your Conner Prairie employee ID badge to gain admission. Please have it at all times when interacting with ISO staff or volunteers.
  • Present your badge to the ISO staff or volunteers at the “Will Call” area, located at the box office table/tent in front of the Symphony Gate in the Apple Store parking lot.
  • If your guests are with you, everyone will receive a ticket at that time.
  • If you are working the concert or your guests are not present when you check in, you must give specific names (NO “guest”, “plus one”, etc.). When the guests arrive they must stop at “Will Call” and will be given a ticket.
  • The guest must also show ID. If a guest gives their name and is not on the list, the guest will be asked to purchase a ticket at the gate.

  • If not in use by the President or Development office, tables may be available for employee use.
  • Requests for tables may be made to Emma St. Dennis. All requests must be in writing. You may e-mail Emma St. Dennis at stdennis@connerprairie.org, or drop a note in her mailbox in the copy room on the second floor.
  • If a requested table becomes available, Emma St. Dennis will notify you before the concert date.
  • Each table seats 10, you will receive 6 symphony admission tickets and you will have to visit the “Will Call” table to collect your remaining 4 tickets.
  • Requests are first-come, first-served.
  • The ISO generously provides Conner Prairie with these premium tables as part of our agreement, and it is important that the table is full. If your request for a table is granted, you should ensure most seats are occupied.
  • If for any reason, your plans change, contact Emma immediately to allow time for other staff to have the opportunity to use the table – again, no empty tables please.

  • All concerts begin at 8 p.m.
  • The exception is Fourth of July series – gates open at 4:30 p.m. and concertgoers begin lining up early for this event.
  • Food & Beverage will sell beer & wine at the concerts. The Prairie Grill will be open.
