    Registration opens Wednesday for summer day camps at Conner Prairie

    FISHERS, Ind. (Tuesday, March 1, 2016/Conner Prairie) – Registration opens Wednesday for summer day camps at Conner Prairie.

    Ten different weeks of Adventure Camp for youth ages 5-15 from June 6 through Aug. 12 and five specialty camps for youth ages 8-12 from June 6 to July 22 will be offered this summer:

    Adventure Camp: June 6-August 12
    Adventure Camp provides outdoor fun and excitement for youth ages 5-15 in Conner Prairie’s unique environment. Highly skilled and trained staff members and camp counselors guide and lead campers through an action-packed week of activities, including a zip line, obstacle course, arts and crafts, canoeing, swimming, fishing, archery, cooking over a fire, making ice cream, horse rides and more.

    Specialty camps include:
    Science Camp for Girls: June 6-10
    Science Camp for Boys: June 13-17
    Archaeology Camp: June 27-July 1
    Maker Camp: June 20-24 and July 11-15
    Art Camp: July 18-22

    All summer day camps run from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Pricing is $210 for Conner Prairie members and $240 for non-members. Early drop-off and late pick-up options are available for an additional fee.
