    25 local craft brewers offer tastings at Conner Prairie’s History on Tap Friday

    FISHERS, Ind. (Wednesday, May 27, 2015/Conner Prairie) – Craft beer fans can enjoy tastings from 25 local breweries, food, live music and entertainment and more at Conner Prairie’s annual History on Tap on Friday.

    Tickets are still available for adults ages 21 and older for the 6:30-10 p.m. event presented by the Conner Prairie Horizon Council, the museum’s young professionals group. Proof of age is required at the event.

    Tickets are $40. Designated driver tickets are $15 and include access to Conner Prairie’s grounds and a gift. Tickets can be purchased online at http://bit.ly/1KieWCl.

    History on Tap will feature tastings from new brewers TwoDEEP Brewing Co., Hoosier Brewing Co., Redemption Alewerks, Planetary Brewing Co., Taxman Brewing Co., Lagunitas Brewing Co., Grand Junction Brewing Co., Wooden Bear Brewing Co., Powerhouse Brewing Co. and McClure’s Orchard.

    Many popular brewers are returning this year, including Sun King Brewing Co., Upland Brewing Co., Fountain Square Brewing Co., Flat12 Bierwerks, Three Pints Brewing Co., Bier Brewery, Barley Island Brewing Co., Scotty's Thr3e Wise Men Brewing Co., Triton Brewing Co., Scarlet Lane Brewing Co., Bloomington Brewing Co., Brugge Brasserie, Outliers Brewing Co., Books and Brews and Broad Ripple Brewpub.

    A dinner buffet is offered for $10. Throughout the evening, guests will be able to talk one-on-one with brewers, take evening flights on Conner Prairie’s 1859 Balloon Voyage, visit 1836 Prairietown and its 19th-century entertainers and more.
