Conner Prairie has an opening for a full-time Animal Experience Facilitator/Assistant Herdsman to care for livestock, poultry and draft animals and daily interpretation of nineteenth century agricultural history.  Represented responsibilities will include assisting in the care of livestock, record keeping, scheduling of vet calls and ferriers, track/order feed and medical supplies and assisting in filling interpreter posts as needed.  High school diploma required.  Basic knowledge of animal husbandry with experience handling farm livestock, driving oxen, use of farm equipment, administering basic medical procedures and MSOffice computer skills.  Apply with resume and cover letter with salary expectations to employment@connerprairie.org.  Application deadline is 10/22/2008.
