Dining Options

From burffet menus to lighter fare and even historic meals, Conner Prairie offers dining options for all appetites. Try historic food with our delicious Taste of the Past dining adventure.

Meal Options (includes tour cost)

Lighter Meals
Groups of 15 or more may choose two of the three lighter menu items. Price of $19.50/person. Includes tour admission. Comes with iced tea, lemonade, or coffee.

Choice of two:

  • Cup of soup (chef's seasonal choice)
  • Half-sandwich of shaved turkey on wheat bread with tomato, lettuce & pickle spear
  • Mixed salad of garden greens with grape tomatoes, cucumbers & croutons—served with assorted salad dressings

Buffet Meals
Groups of 25 or more may choose one of these buffet meals. Includes tour admission. Comes with iced tea, lemonade or coffee.

  • Chef's choice of soup, garden fresh salad bar, warm bread sticks, lemon cream cake—$23.50
  • Creamy cole slaw, sautéed chicken breast in sauce, paprika roasted potatoes, country green beans, roll & butter, chocolate cake—$25.50
Taste of the Past—Historic dining adventure

Groups may dine on a seasonal meal prepared with authentic 19th-century "receipts." Experience the unique and delicious tastes of 1836 while being entertained by a costumed host who will inform you of the diverse culinary foods of Prairietown residents.
$22.95/person, plus facility rental and set-up when applicable (does not include tour admission, tax and gratuity). Minimum of 20 persons. Meals are served with pitchers of water, cool tea with mint, coffee.

Sample Menus

Spring

  • Carrot soup, fried ham with gravy, peas with mint, greens with warm dressing, cornbread and butter, gingerbread with lemon cream

Summer

  • Herb soup, chicken fricassee, country green beans, potato snow, cornbread and butter, bread and butter pudding with fruit sauce

Fall & Winter

  • Fine bean soup, roast pork with sauerkraut, corn pudding, stewed apples, cornbread and butter, vinegar pie
