Conner Prairie is a place where you can play freely and run

farther, with space to explore and uncover new things. When

families come here, they connect with history, science, nature,

art and most importantly, one another. Experience outdoor areas

(open 3/28-10/29)

, year-round indoor spaces and acres

of natural exploration. At Conner Prairie, there’s room to grow

and adventure is just

Climb to the top and take in the view from this 4-story treehouse! Inside

you’ll find a knot tying station, a reading room loaded with fun nature

books, an investigation station and more. Back on the ground, you’ll find

a variety of activity areas where you can dig into the sand and uncover

artifacts to help make sense of the past; build something with your own

hands using bamboo poles, wood blocks and fabric; create art with forest

colors, textures and shapes; and, add to the forest sounds around you by

playing musical instruments. New additional activities will be available

in June of 2017. The nearby

Treetop Workshop

offers unique making

opportunities (additional fee), and provides Adventure Backpacks to

take with you on the

Nature Walk

so you’ll have all the tools you

need to take a closer look at beautiful birds or intriguing insects

along the way.

in 1825. Then, stroll through

the nearby heirloom gardens

and visit the Loom House.
