Explore Indiana history first-hand at Conner Prairie through an exciting overnight immersion experience. The four-day class includes activities such as:

• Preparing meals
• Feeding livestock
• Attending school
• Historic crafts
• Parlor games
• Singing

Use your experiences as a springboard for creating multi-disciplinary lessons covering a variety of academic standards. Learn how to create immersion classroom experiences, use objects to teach the past and make the most of field trips.

Each class consists of:

• 8-hour orientation meeting
• 2-day overnight experience
• 3-hour wrap-up session

Extra readings and lesson plan development are required.
