As you may have seen in the Indiana Business Journal, we are pleased to announce our partnership with Ritz Charles to offer an event venue as part of our 2018 restoration and expansion of the Chinese House. The new hospitality pavilion called The Bluffs at Conner Prairie will hold 250 guests for weddings, receptions, social galas, parties and corporate events.
During our 2017 Annual Meeting we announced the $1.4 million restoration and renovation of the Chinese House made possible by a grant from the Lilly Endowment, Inc. and the generous gift of $500,000 from our Immediate Past Chair and Conner Prairie Board Member Jay Ricker and his wife Nancy. We are so excited about these improvements to the Chinese House, and look forward to adding this new, beautiful event venue to our grounds that has a remarkable view overlooking the White River.
