Internships at Conner Prairie are a unique way for college/university students or recent graduates to get an inside look at the workings of one of the country’s most respected history museums. Interns gain valuable hands-on experience by participating in the ongoing work of the department they are assigned to.
We offer positions in a wide range of departments. Specific jobs and projects fluctuate each year, based on need. All intern positions are experience-based and are unpaid. The Conner Prairie Intern Program is open to currently enrolled sophomore-senior college/university students, graduate students or recent graduates. Internships can be done for school credit with the appropriate approval. The majority of internships occur during the summer but some are available during the school year.
Interns are offered:
• Practical professional experiences
• Professional development and networking
• Discounts at the Conner Prairie Store and Café
