At Conner Prairie, the Indiana history you read about in textbooks becomes a vibrant learning experience full of activities for students and teachers to see and do. You can talk with the potter, feel the heat from the blacksmith’s forge, play games with the local pioneer children and help with the farm chores.
Our programs cover a wide variety of Indiana academic standards including inter-disciplinary curriculum for every grade level. Subjects including social studies, language arts, math and science are all incorporated into your visit. Students get the perfect mix of learning, adventure and fun all in a scenic and safe environment where our dedicated staff is always on hand ready to help you.
We know in this economy your field trip dollars are limited, so we try our best to keep your costs as low as possible by substantially subsidizing every student’s visit.
For some of our programs, we have special dates when individual home-school students can sign up for one of our school group programs. If you can get a group of 15 or more together, you are welcome to sign up for any of our school programs.
See below for more information. If you have questions or want to make a reservation, call Guest Services at 317.776.6006 or 800.966.1836 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Home school educators who visit with a student group of 15 or more receive free admission.
We recommend considering a Conner Prairie membership. Members enjoy free visits for general touring. Visit twice and your membership pays for itself! View the Membership page for all the details.
