Summer Day Camps

*Early arrival beginning at 8 am and late departure until 5:30 pm are available.

$185/week ($170/member) Additional children in the same family enjoy a $5 discount.

Adventure Camp

Ages 5–14

From water to land, each day is a new adventure! Conquer the White River by canoe (ages 8–14), tube (ages 8–14) or pedal boat (ages 5–7). Then, get down and dirty on the challenge course, hike the backwoods of Conner Prairie, swim in the pond or fish for big-mouth bass. With so much land to explore, there’s never a dull moment. Are you up for the challenge?

Art Camp

Ages 8–14

Let your inner artist shine! Each day offers exciting, creative outlets for you to use your imagination. Try it all—weaving, painting, drawing, acting, pottery, crafts and more! Unlike any other camp in the area, Conner Prairie offers 800 acres of outdoor inspiration so campers stay active while igniting their creative juices!

Policies and Details

Friendly Staff

Your children are guided and cared for by our trained counseling staff, certified in First Aid and CPR. A health specialist is onsite to handle medical needs, along with certified lifeguards to supervise water activities. The counselor to camper ratio is 1:7 for Farm Friends, Prairie Pals and Trail Blazers; 1:8 for River Runners and Wild Explorers; and 1:5 for Village People.

Lunches & Snacks

All campers bring their own sack lunches, drinks and water bottles (to be kept with them all day) that do not require refrigeration. Afternoon popsicle snacks are provided.

T-shirts

All campers receive a camp T-shirt at the end of the week.

Arrive Early, Stay Late

Campers can arrive as early as 8 am and stay as late as 5:30 pm. During these hours, counselors and campers play games and make crafts. All early-arrival and late-departure campers must be pre-registered. A $25 fee will be charged for campers picked up later than 5:30 pm.

Camp Fees

The camp fee is $185 per week. Additional children in the same family enjoy a $5 discount.

Member Discount

Conner Prairie members pay only $170 for camp. Begin your membership now and take advantage of this discount.

Special Needs

For your child’s safety and enjoyment, a caregiver is permitted to attend camp (at no additional charge) with your special needs camper. This person must be listed on the application with your child.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule your camp registration and receive a refund, notify Guest Services at least three weeks prior to your camp start date. You will receive a refund minus a $25 administrative fee per camper. No refunds will be given for cancellations without three weeks’ notice. Conner Prairie reserves the right to cancel any session. In the event of a cancellation by Conner Prairie, you will receive a full refund.
