Immerse you and your family in the music, dance, traditional arts and food of Indiana’s diverse cultures. Do crafts in the WFYI Kids Barn on Saturday and dance in the Radio Disney tent on Sunday. Enjoy live music performances and see unique dance routines from more than 20 groups. Adults, eat your way through the festival trying a variety of yummy ethnic and festival foods! Learn about traditional arts like wood carving, basket weaving, fiddle playing and more and attend the Lyceum lecture by Tom Crouch, Senior Curator at Smithsonian Institute, on "Early Aviation in America."
Top off your day by joining in the celebration of Conner Prairie’s newest experience, 1859 Balloon Voyage! Soar 350 feet above the prairie in a tethered, helium-filled balloon. (If you can't make it to Indiana Festival, don't worry. 1859 Balloon Voyage is a permanent exhibit that will remain at Conner Prairie for years to come.)
