Start your day off right with a delicious breakfast and a visit with Santa at this popular holiday event. Kids can decorate a cookie to take home too. After breakfast, head outside and experience Holiday Adventures. Non-members may use their Breakfast with Santa ticket for a $3 discount on general admission to Holiday Adventures after breakfast. This family-friendly, 90-minute guided tour takes you back more than 175 years ago to Prairietown where it’s the night before Christmas. Meet a variety of characters in their homes and help them with holiday preparation. Meet the Ullmans who are celebrating Hanukkah. Discover who Belznichol is at the Golden Eagle Inn, and then visit with the Curtis family to hear about Santa Claus and who he might visit that night. Join Dr. Campbell at his home for dancing and singing as he and his family ring in the holidays! Following the guided tour, laugh and joke with the Rowdies, or town partiers, around the bonfire. This program is recommended for ages 7+ and is ideal for guests who prefer a more structured program in the evening hours.

Join Conner Prairie's young professionals group, the Horizon Council, for their second annual "Holiday Cheers". This adults-only evening offers hors d-oeuvres, wine and craft beer and a stroll by candlelight through 1836 Prairietown. Sample locally brewed beers in the tap room at the Golden Eagle Inn; participate in sausage-making demonstrations from 1836; visit Dr. Campbell's holiday soiree; and explore the different cultures and holiday traditions from the 19th century.

Experience a family-friendly, daytime winter adventure through Prairietown as you enjoy the holidays the 1830s way! Meet a variety of characters in their homes as they prepare for the holidays.

Science of Baking - 11 a.m and 3 p.m.
You'll be able to explore the science of baking in the Conner Home by seeing the making of chocolate using historical methods, experiments with yeast and baking by the fire.

Find out what holiday treats, games and gifts were offered and even what pranks were played more than 175 years ago. Make a craft that celebrates traditions from around the world. (Some activities may include an additional fee.) This program is recommended for all ages and is ideal for little ones and family members who prefer to move at their own pace.
