Discovery Station and Craft Corner are closed from April 1-June 27 for remodeling. Craft activities will be available in the Welcome Center at the base of the stairs.

The outdoor experience areas are open March 27 - November 2, 2014. 
River Crossing Water Play Area is open Memorial Day-Labor Day.

Important Info

Guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Pets are not allowed on Conner Prairie's property.
Parking is free at Conner Prairie.

  • Free for members & youth under 2
  • Free for active duty, retired and veteran military members;  50% off the general admission price for up to five immediate family members. Military ID is required.
  • 1859 Balloon Voyage: $15, $12 member
  • Symphony on the Prairie, Headless Horseman, 1859 Balloon Voyage tickets, and evening programs are not included in the general admission price.

Blue Star Museums Program - Military Free Admission Program

Conner Prairie is one of more than 1,500 museums across America to offer free admission to military personnel holding a Geneva Convention common access card, a DD Form 1173 ID card or a DD Form 1173-1 ID card, and their families this summer in collaboration with the National Endowment of the Arts, Blue Star Families, and the Department of Defense. One of the above cards must be presented at the time of admission.

The program runs from May 24, 2014 through Labor Day, September 1, 2014. The free admission program is available to active-duty military and their family members (military ID holder and up to five family members). Please note: Admission to Symphony on the Prairie and evening events is not included in the Blue Star Museums free admission program.

Access Pass Program

 

Conner Prairie is proud to partner with The Children's Museum of Indianapolis and other local institutions to make fun family learning affordable for more Indiana families through the Access Pass Program. Families that participate in any of the state assistance programs listed below can visit these locations for just $1 per family member on the account per visit*. Required documentation and a completed Access Pass application are required.

Required documents

  • Hoosier Healthwise or Hoosier Works Enrollment Recertification Letter, issued by the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration. Letter must be issued in the primary adult cardholder name and verify program enrollment for the current year. To request your letter or view the status of your enrollment, please visit the following website: www.in.gov/fssa/dfr/2999.htm

  • Indiana State Issued photo ID card, either a Driver’s License or State Identification card. The name on the photo ID must match an adult name on the recertification letter. Employee and Student IDs or out-of-state IDs will not be accepted.
