The outdoor experience areas are closed for the season and will open again on March 31, 2012. Please visit the indoor experience areas, such as Discovery Station, Science Lab and Craft Corner for year round fun and exploration.

1859 Balloon Voyage Junior Aeronaut Adventure
10 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. Thur.-Sat., 11 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Sun.
Become a Junior Aeronaut and learn to fly the balloon with one of Conner Prairie's certified pilots! You'll learn to read instruments, determine weather conditions and control the balloon. Then you'll take a flight and help to fly! At the end of the flight, you'll have earned your Junior Aeronaut certificate with wings. This experience is weather permitting. $5 (does not include cost of 1859 Balloon Voyage ticket; sold separately).
Pack the Horse's Saddle - Lenape Camp

A shipment of goods has arrived at Lenape Camp's Trading Post and we need your help stocking the post and loading the (play) horse's pack saddle with furs and packages. Bring along your best knot-tying skills - securing all this cargo is not easy!

Farm Hands - Golden Eagle Complex

The Zimmerman family always needs help running the inn and their farm. Pitch in and help with the daily chores at the Golden Eagle Complex in Prairietown.
Modeling & Mending at the McClures
Mrs. McClure needs help mending and trying on the new clothes she's made for her family. Mr. McClure could use a hand in the carpenter shop, too.

Join the Campbell family for a fun-filled community gathering! Play games and polish your 19th-century etiquette in the home or on the lawn of the town founder, Dr. Campbell. Enjoy some piano music and sing along too.
William Conner's Home In-depth Tour
3:30 p.m. daily & Saturdays at 12:00 p.m.
Peek into William Conner's world when you visit his homestead, a treasured piece of Indiana history. Explore the first floor of Central Indiana's first brick home where the fur trader and Indiana statesman lived wtih his family. Guests are welcome to take self-guided tours throughout the day too.

Wednesdays feature activities that granchildren and grandparents can enjoy together. Click here for each month's activities.
Thursdays - Taste the Past
Sample an authentic taste, straight from Indiana's past. Held at the Curtis home in 1836 Prairietown, Mrs. Curtis will share her prized recipe box and make authentic treats fresh from her garden including tomatoes, asparagus, and melon, as well as scrumptious baked goods such as applesauce cake, petticoat tails, and refreshing historic drinks. A different taste will be featured from the pages of historic cookbooks each Thursday at 2 p.m. Click here for each month's theme.
