Horn Work
Instructor Art DeCamp will lead the class in making a traditional screw-tip style powder horn. Discuss the history and styles of screw-tip horns, selecting the proper horn, lathe work and finishing techniques. $50 materials fee. Tools required.
Folding Knife
Learn how to build an 18th-century style folding knife with instructor Nathan Allen. Traditional filing, bench work and heat treating skills will be used to construct an attractive steel and brass folding knife. $25 materials fee. Tools required.
Bead Work
Students will learn the art of Native American bead work with Jan Farrarr. Using traditional Western and Eastern Woodland Indian designs, learn to properly warp the loom, set up patterns and weave the beads into an attractive bracelet or a patterned strap used to embellish hats, hunting pouches or knife sheaths. $15 materials fee.
Coopering
Experience the art of coopering. Learn how to properly select wood, use traditional coopers' tools and fit together a wooden piggin wiht instructor Chuck Andrews. $35 materials fee.

Forging Gun Mounts
Learn how to design and forge iron trigger gaurds and butt plates for a Southern Mountain rifle with Conner Prairie's Lead Blacksmith Nathan Allen.
Leather Work
Join Ken Scott as he teaches his unique style of making hunting bags and pouches. Pattern development and basic leatherworking techniques as well as Ken's unique antiquing methods will be covered. $35 materials fee. Tools required.
Basket Making
Discover the artistry in weaving an Eastern Woodland Indian river cane basket. Robin McBride-Scott will share her knowledge of types and styles of native baskets, processing river cane and weaving an attractive "fanner" basket. $40 materials fee.
Pottery
Work with Conner Prairie's Master Potter Larry Gilliam, as you advance your pottery skills or learn basic wheel-throwing techniques.
Evening Class

Decorative Technique for Redware Pottery
Learn how to lay a design, glaze and carve on Pennsylvania German and Early New England redware. Take home an heirloom piece of pottery to cherish for a lifetime.
